Central Tribe of the Shawnee Area (CTSA)
After the former classroom building for CTSA Head Start/Early Head Start had served its purpose and was deemed unusable for future growth, Integrated Architecture was called to assist the school with temporary classroom space while also designing a new facility to meet the needs of students in the future. Phase One included renovations in an existing administration and storage building that included 9,000 SF of renovated space with six new and temporary classrooms, a temporary kitchen that will later serve as a staff break room, and renovated administration offices. Phase Two included a new building replacing the former structure that includes eight new Head Start and Early Head Start classrooms, a new commercial food service kitchen for the students, staff work rooms, administration offices, and laundry facilities. A new parking lot for staff and visitors, a new playground, and upgrades to the courtyard at the existing facility were also included in the project.
