Edmond's First Baptist Church
Edmond, Oklahoma

Edmond's First Baptist church needed Additions/Renovations to add more classroom space, a larger fellowship hall, and a new entry element for additional parking on the back side of their existing facility. Integrated Architecture helped Edmond's First Baptist Church design a facility that would be flexible for multipurpose use. The ground floor entry hall was designed using moving walls to allow this area to become additional space for the fellowship hall. The existing fellowship hall, which doubled in size with the addition and received a new kitchen, was a challenge due to the existing floor-to-floor height. The design raised the existing ceiling and minimized the above ceiling area for mechanical systems. All the challenges of the addition and renovation were overcome through creative thinking as to how to use the space for multiple functions. Integrated Architecture also worked closely with the City of Edmond to resolve significant code issues. The result has been well received by the congregation and the new spaces are heavily used throughout the week. It was a team effort between Integrated Architecture, the consulting engineers, the contractor and the Church building committee.

Austin Square Business Park
Edmond, Oklahoma

Austin Square Business Park was a project that included the construction of nine buildings in one development, all to be used as office space. The buildings were uniquely designed to be customized for lease or sale. The individual buildings range from 2,000 square feet to almost 7,000 square feet. There are a mix of single-story and two-story buildings. The exterior materials were brick and stone with asphalt shingles.

4GH Ranch Headquarters
Western Oklahoma

4GH is a private cattle ranch in western Oklahoma. An old horse barn needed to be replaced with a more functional facility. The new barn is intended to be used for everyday equipment storage as well as social functions. On the west side of the main two-story barn, there is a large covered porch that faces both the family residence and a renovated guest house. The porch is a gathering area with an outdoor fireplace. Inside the barn are several seating areas and a large open bay with clerestory windows, running from north to south. The bay area is also used for equipment storage. On the east side of the main barn is a kitchen, a restroom, a workout room, and a storage room.

The owner's family was very involved in the design and managed all the construction. Locally sourced materials were used in building the facility as much as possible. All the wood, both structural and trim, was milled from timber that was harvested from their ranch. Much of the interior, including some fixtures, is made from re-purposed materials. The floor is concrete with a local river rock used as the aggregate. The floor was ground after it was poured to reveal a beautiful aggregate pattern.

Klepper Law Office
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Klepper Law Office is located along the ever-developing Classen Boulevard in Oklahoma City. Integrated Architecture worked with the owners of the building to carefully respect the iconic façade while designing much needed architectural renovations. The newly remodeled composition supports offices, a new elevator, and unmatched views of nearby landmarks. Ultimately, the most defining component of the project was the exterior elevator housing. Composed of aluminum panels that mimic weathered steel, the form carefully interjects a much needed vertical note to the existing horizontal vocabulary.
